Tanit is an intersectional feminist archive and research platform that aims at preserving unspoken struggle of people who have been historically underrepresented and/or misrepresented for their non-hegemonic sexualities, gender attributions and body expressions.
With limited access to reliable informative resources, Tanit seeks to tackle misinformation and knowledge exclusion by providing reliable resources regarding gender and sexuality, in the most accessible formats and language.
Tanit arose within several other dynamics fueled by a common determination to shift the societal paradigms towards a more just and inclusive environment for all. It was founded by two activists who were working together for years in a loose partnership. In 2019, they put the first skeleton of Tanit platform and announced the official launching in 2020.
